PALMERITAS DE TOMATE Y ORÉGANO



PALMERITAS DE TOMATE Y ORÉGANO

INGREDIENTES: 1 lámina de hojaldre, 4 cucharadas de tomate frito, 2 cucharadas de aceite de oliva virgen y 1 cucharada de orégano.


  • Sobre una superficie limpia y lisa extender la lámina de hojaldre.
  • En un bowl mezclar el tomate frito, el aceite y el orégano hasta hacer 
  • Echar tres cucharadas soperas de salsa sobre la masa de manera uniforme.
  • Doblar los extremos de la masa hacia el centro de la misma, primero de un lado y luego del otro. Añadir más salsa en los lados donde no tenga. Repetir la operación con ambos extremos, hasta que nos quede un único rollo de masa de hojaldre.
  • Con un cuchillo cortar el rollo de masa en 24 rodajas (más o menos 24 rodajas, pueden ser menos).
  • Colocar las palmeritas sobre un papel de cocina en una bandeja de horno e introducir al horno (previamente precalentado) a 200º durante 15 minutos, o hasta que se doren.


ACOMPAÑAMIENTOS: Se puede añadir una salsa blanca o guacamole.


TRUCOS: Cuando coloques la masa en el horno deja una separación entre palmerita y palmerita ya que crecen en el horno. Así evitaremos que se unan unas palmeritas a otras.


TIEMPO DE PREPARACIÓN: 25 minutos.



TOMATO AND OREGAN HEART SHAPED PUFF PASTRY


INGREDIENTS: 1 sheet of puff pastry, 4 tablespoons tomato sauce, 2 tablespoons olive oil and 1 tablespoon oregano. 


  • On a clean, smooth surface extend the pastry sheet.
  • In a bowl mix the tomato sauce, oil and oregano.
  • Add three tablespoons of  the mixture over the dough.
  • Fold the ends of the dough toward the center of it, first one side and then the other.
  • Add more sauce on the side which does not have. Repeat with both ends, until obtain a single roll of puff pastry.
  • With a knife cut the roll dough into 24 slices (about 24 slices, they may be less).
  • Place the slices over a paper towel on a baking tray and insert it into the oven (preheated) at 200º for 15 minutes or until golden.


SIDE DISHES: You can add a white sauce or guacamole.


TIPS: When you put the dough in the oven leave a gap between palmerita and palmerita so they will  grow in the oven. This will prevent the slices join one to another.


PREPARATION TIME: 25 minutes.
